What Helm keeps, who can see it, and how to leave.

What Helm stores

What you enter: your accounts and cards, the money you record, the people and plans you track, and your preferences. When bank messages or statements are imported, Helmkeeps the uploaded source, review rows and recorded transactions. It does not connect automatically to your bank.

To let you sign in, it keeps your email address and your name. Your browser keeps a cookie that holds your session, and remembers your light or dark choice and the steps you have completed in the first-use guide.

Who can see it

Your financial records are tied to your account and are not shown on public pages. Supabase hosts the database. The operator has administrative access to run the service.

What Helm never does

It does not sell your data or show ads. Hosting providers process the records needed to run the service.

Leaving

Self-service export and account deletion are planned. For now, contact the person who shared Helmwith you to request account removal. The roadmap describes the planned product features.
